I have a range of tracks only available in the track view and another range of tracks only available to the mixer. The problem is that the tracks in track view send to the tracks in the mixer view. The signal level in the mixer are lower than the sending track in the track view. The difference is about 3 db lower all tracks in mixer have level at 0db. I was thinking that they should be almost the same level as the sender.

Did you check in the track routing panel how much volume are you sending?

yeah I think pan law is your last resort, otherwise it's probably either a bug or something really stupid you're not seeing :D

Agree with checking pan law - try using the 'gain compensation' checkbox next to the pan law setting in the Project Settings 'Advanced' page (rather than on the individual tracks) and see if your levels go back to normal!

I tried the suggestions, but it does not seem to help. One thing I noticed, the master track follows what is showing in the track view even though the signal is passing through the dedicated tracks in the mixer. For now I guess I will use my work around avoiding the mixer section until I find a solution.

I have it solved now. Had tracks that were not configured correctly.
