I have 12 tracks that make up the background music that I am singing to. All of these tracks are sent to a Music BUSS Should I be adjusting the pitch by putting ReaPitch on just the BUSS, or should I put it on each track individually? Thanks in advance for your help..... The ReaPitch plugin will be more of a distortion effect that incorporates pitch shifting. If you were looking for a "processed" kind of effect sound, dial up ReaPitch to the level of audio destruction you want! :D If you were looking to preserve audio quality while altering the pitch, use the method to change the pitch of the audio items in item properties instead. This uses Elastique Pro and lets you get away with a lot. (It's lossless in verispeed mode but still let's you get away with a lot with unlinked pitch or time alteration.)
The songs I get come in individual tracks for each instrument. No, they are not out of tune. As downloaded, the song is in the key of 'F' .... That key is simply too high to be comfortable for me to sing in, so I just want to lower the key so I can more easily hit the high notes, etc. What I have tried already is to adjust the ReaPitch down by -3 semitones. But, I would like the option to go lower if possible. I am a total newbie at least when it comes to accomplishing my goal with something like this, so, any answers I would appreciate it if you can dumb it down for me! Not sure how else to say it! What can I do in this case?

In ReaPitch, I started by putting in -3 semitones. I'm noticing that the semitone adjustment in the properties wind has -- 0.000000 .... Since dealing with decimal points is something I have not used yet, in the setting for semitones what would the decimal equivalent look like? I'm going to just guess here, but would it be: -3.000000 ???? Last, I understand about changing the re-sampling, but, once again, I've never had to adjust that before. What section in preferences will I find that setting to check it and adjust if needed?
